FL-AG v. Russell Bruce Moncrief

Russell Bruce Moncrief allegedly used his position as a bondsman in Central Florida to target female inmates in Orange County jail and others on prostitution and/or drug charges and would offer the victims bond in exchange for sex. According to an investigation by the Metropolitan Bureau of Investigation, Moncrief used threats of revoking, pulling or violating the females’ bonds as a form of force, fraud or coercion. Moncrief is charged with three counts of human trafficking for commercial sexual activity, one count of racketeering and one count of unlawful use of a two-way communications device to facilitate the commission of a felony.
